Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role: The Director of Business Operations orchestrates working across the Technology organization, comprising the Technology, Engineering, and Information teams. The primary outcomes of the business operations function are the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization. Job Description: Your way to impact: The individual in this role will collaborate with the VP of Business Operations, OCTO, and her staff, and a cohort of business operations leaders to achieve a high-functioning, healthy Technology organization at PayPal. Your day-to-day: In your day-to-day you will: Develop strategies & and monitor “Net Promoter Score” metrics from key internal partners of the organization to keep a pulse on the effectiveness of OCTO scope in driving outcomes for the Technology organization. Own and establish the operating cadence for OCTO, including staff meetings, All-Hands, talent reviews, and employee engagement initiatives. Drive special projects on an as-needed basis across a matrixed organization. Support external business benchmarking exercises as needed to gain insights and direction Business Operations, Operating Rhythms, Routines, Rituals, and Efficiency Implement business frameworks, tools, and processes for business operations and the OCTO team to utilize and employ. Partner across teams to streamline forecasting and analytics on hiring, development, and attrition and work at an aggregate level with talent acquisition and other functions to ensure an optimal workforce.
